Company

Our story

The firm began as a specialist index desk. The name stayed when the book widened, because the habit did: price the thing you are known for properly, then do the same for everything else.

A desk, then a firm

In the first years the only market on the ticket was the US Tech 100. Clients were coming from share dealing, where commission was the visible cost and the spread was someone else’s problem. On a CFD the spread is the cost. We decided to publish it, keep commission at zero, and explain the overnight charge before anyone held a position into the roll.

Forex followed because index traders were already expressing a dollar view by accident. Gold followed because the same clients hedged risk-off days in metal rather than flipping the index. Shares were added last, and only for names large enough to price fairly.

ustecindex.com is the public face of that desk: education, pricing, and an application that asks about experience before it asks for a deposit.

The index, named properly

USTEC is our symbol for the US Tech 100 cash CFD. Elsewhere you will see NAS100, US100 or USA100. The underlying idea is the same: the large non-financial Nasdaq complex, traded as a single price.

Commission removed from the sentence

A zero commission line is only honest if the spread, the swap and the optional stop premium are written next to it. That sentence is now the pricing page.

Education before leverage

The academy was not a marketing add-on. It was the condition partners set for raising the maximum leverage available to new accounts.
